Did you know most of the classes at PES start their day with reading, writing, and language arts? If your child is tardy, he/she interrupts this very important instruction time so please make it a priority to get your student to school on time.
Speaking of being on time, don’t forget to set your clocks ahead this Sunday for day light savings time.
Friday, March 13 is a planning day which also means it is the end of the third nine weeks of school. If your child has any work that needs to be turned in or made up, it must be given to their teacher(s) as soon as possible.
I hope everyone enjoys their Spring Break (March 16 - 20) and comes back refreshed and recharged for the last nine weeks of school! When we return from Spring Break, our third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade students will start the reading and math portions of the FSA assessment.
As always, if you have any concerns or questions about your child’s academic progress, please contact the teacher for a conference.
